SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- December 9, 2015 -- O’Melveny & Myers LLP’s ground-breaking new tool for litigation research and efficiency, OMMLit, was selected for The Recorder’s 2015 Innovator Awards, which identifies individuals, organizations, and ideas that are paving the way for innovation in the legal industry.

OMMLit was profiled by The Recorder in a December 4, 2015, feature.  As the article describes, the program was designed to make finding and using the Firm’s litigation resources a more intuitive and efficient process.  OMMLit “slices the litigation process into its 400 most commonly performed tasks” and as lawyers and paralegals move through the tasks, the program provides the relevant information and resources “right at their fingertips.”  O’Melveny’s managing director for information Jeff Rovner told the publication that in some cases, OMMLit “enables us to do a task so quickly that our clients may just choose to have us do it,” rather than complete it in-house.

The Firm was honored by The Recorder at a December 8, 2015, ceremony in San Francisco.
