Pooja Sinha joins O'Melveny Capital Markets and India Practices

SINGAPORE - AUGUST 30, 2010 - O’Melveny & Myers LLP announced today that it has welcomed Pooja Sinha as counsel in its Singapore office. She joins the Firm after having practiced for many years at other leading law firms in Singapore, London, and New Delhi.

Sinha’s India-related work includes initial public offerings by Indian corporates; qualified institutions placements by Indian corporates (Regulation S and Rule 144-A offerings); offerings of Indian Depository Receipts by non-Indian corporates; offerings of Global Depository Receipts (GDRs) listed on the London and Luxembourg stock exchanges by Indian corporates; offerings of convertible bonds listed on the Singapore stock exchange by Indian corporates; and exchange and tender offers and consent solicitation exercises for convertible bonds issued by Indian corporates.

Outside of India, she has experience of acting on Medium Term Note (MTN) programmes, straight corporate debt offerings, warrant issues and liability management exercises for European and Middle-Eastern sovereigns and corporates; GDR transactions for a number of emerging market corporates; and structured capital markets offerings in the European infrastructure sector under the public-private partnership regime.

Sinha is a graduate in the top 10% of her class of the National Law School, Bangalore, India’s premier law school, and holds a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Oxford.
