Small Business Clinic for Low-Income Entrepreneurs
O'Melveny, Chubb, and the City Bar Justice Center joined forces to host a pro bono clinic to assist small businesses.
O’Melveny attorneys teamed up with lawyers from Chubb, a leading global insurer, and the Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Project of the City Bar Justice Center, to hold a pro bono clinic in Brooklyn, New York, assisting low- to moderate-income micro-entrepreneurs. The clinic provided 16 micro-entrepreneurs with the opportunity to meet individually with attorneys regarding their small business legal issues. The topics ranged from business structure to intellectual property protection, with a focus on helping the individuals get their businesses on sound legal footing.
