Christian Rice is a litigation associate in O’Melveny’s Austin office. Christian focuses his practice on government and regulatory matters, including State Office of Administrative Hearings proceedings.
Prior to law school, Christian developed aviation, space, and R&D policy as Policy Staff on the US House of Representatives Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, which oversees the Department of Energy, DOT, EPA, FAA, NASA, NIST, NOAA, NSF, NWS, and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
Following his tenure in Congress, Christian represented aviation and agricultural interests to the federal legislative and executive branches, coordinated related state-level government relations efforts, and advised businesses on matters of regulatory compliance.
