Christopher Hagenbuch represents public and private companies, as well as private equity funds, in domestic and global mergers and acquisitions and in general corporate matters across a broad range of industries.  Chris has served as an advisor on a wide array of complex M&A transactions.  He also represents venture capital firms and technology companies in financings, early liquidity transactions, spin-offs and buyouts, recapitalizations, public equity offerings and private debt transactions.  Chris’ practice spans the company life cycle, from formation, founder-related matters, seed investments, and venture capital financings for early-stage companies to later stage financings, M&A, and corporate governance matters for larger private and public companies.

Prior to working as a corporate transactions attorney, Chris served as a prosecutor in Pennsylvania, successfully negotiating the resolution of several hundred criminal cases and serving as the lead assistant district attorney in several criminal trials.  Chris served in several corporate development roles at a portfolio company of Great Hill Partners prior to practicing law.
