Helen Galloway is a litigation associate in the firm’s Financial Services and White Collar Defense & Corporate Investigations practices. She represents clients including financial institutions, fintech companies, manufacturers, and others in a wide variety of regulatory compliance and enforcement matters regarding anti-money laundering, economic and trade sanctions, national security reviews of potential cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and export control regulations. Before joining O’Melveny, Helen worked in the commercial litigation and international trade groups of a major global law firm and the international trade practice of a leading international law firm.

She received her J.D. from Loyola Law School Los Angeles, where she was a Sayre MacNeil Scholar, a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honors Society, and the recipient of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Student Advocacy Award. Helen served as Chief Note and Comment Editor of the Loyola Law Review and was a competitor on the nationally ranked Byrne Trial Advocacy Team. She also served as an extern for the Honorable Richard M. Neiter of the US Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. Before law school, Helen graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California.
