Maude Vonderau advises clients on all aspects of EU competition law. In particular, she represents clients in abuse of dominance cases and has been involved in several cartel investigations before the European Commission. She provides advice to multinational companies across a wide variety of sectors, including financial services, technology, consumer goods, aviation, pharmaceuticals and basic industry. She has also handled merger control matters before the European Commission and at national level.
Before joining O’Melveny, Maude Vonderau worked as an associate in another major international law firm in Brussels. Prior to that, she completed a Blue Book traineeship in a merger unit of the DG Competition of the European Commission. She also trained at another leading international law firm in Brussels and at the Belgian Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
