Michael J. Schiavone, a Co-Chair of the Firm’s Capital Markets Practice, has broad experience in public and private securities transactions, representing underwriters and issuers in a wide variety of equity, debt and convertible securities offerings.  He also has extensive experience in acquisition finance, debt restructuring and liability management transactions. Michael is regularly cited as a leading attorney for equity-linked products and is listed as a leading practitioner for Capital Markets: Debt & Equity in both Chambers USA and Chambers Global.

Prior to joining O’Melveny, Michael headed the Capital Markets-Americas practice at one of the country’s leading Wall Street law firms.
