Sarah was called to the Bar in England and Wales in 2007 (Middle Temple) and practiced at the self-employed Bar from 2007 to May 2012, focusing on commercial and chancery litigation. In 2012, she won a Pegasus Scholarship to spend three months in Hong Kong, which included acting as a marshal to the Honourable Mr. Justice Frank Stock, vice president of the Court of Appeal. Her arbitration experience includes acting as junior counsel, working with the HKIAC, and marshalling with Neil Kaplan CBE QC SBS in international commercial arbitrations. Sarah has also acted as counsel in mediations and negotiations.
