Sarah Knapton represents financial services, professional services, and listed companies, as well as regulators, in commercial disputes. She handles litigation—including financial services mis-selling and professional negligence— and arbitration, as well as contentious regulatory matters in relation to financial and other regulators. Sarah’s broad range of experience includes advising in cases involving commercial disputes, often relating to the construction and interpretation of contracts. 

Sarah is an experienced advocate who has appeared as counsel in the courts of England and Wales, including in appeals. She has acted in many multi-day hearings and trials and in a number of public inquiries. Many of these cases have involved complicated facts, and she has worked with expert witnesses in fields as diverse as quantity surveying, architecture, accounting, and engineering.
