Yuko Zaha is an international attorney with a keen understanding of legal and business practices in both Japan and the United States, with an ability to bridge cultural practices to achieve outstanding results for her clients. For both Japanese and non-Japanese clients, she advises on a wide range of matters, primarily focusing on merger and acquisitions. She has represented leading Japanese, other Asian, and US companies in cross-border and domestic M&A, joint ventures and strategic alliances. She also supports clients to make regulatory filings related on transactional matters, including antitrust filings, filings required under the Japan FEFTA, and CFIUS notifications.

In addition, Yuko has specialty experience with data privacy and protection matters. She holds a CIPP/US certification by the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Yuko also advises companies on various general corporate matters.
