Chinese Companies Targeting Southern California for Growth Opportunities

O'Melveny partners Tony Wang and Mark Peterson, and associate Michael Reynolds co-authored the October 17, 2016, Orange County Business Journal article “Chinese Companies Targeting Southern California for Growth Opportunities.” 

The authors discuss how “[s]tructural economic dynamics continue to favor increased interest in US assets by investors in China” and conclude that “Orange Countyʼs diverse business landscape (particularly in the fields of technology, entertainment, healthcare, and real estate) offers a plethora of appealing prospects for investment, acquisition, or partnership, so this is a market dynamic to watch in 2017.”
