O’Melveny partner Matthew Close and counsel Brittany Rogers co-authored an article with John Kihlberg, senior director at H5, titled, “Leveraging Search Experts and Technology for Targeted Risk Oversight.” The piece appeared in the July 13, 2018, edition of Corporate Compliance Insights.

Noting that multiple corporate scandals have increased attention on risk oversight, the article discusses new methods boards can use in situations that do not call for a full-scale, outside investigation.

“Search experts wielding advanced technologies now make it possible to conduct a targeted micro-investigation to identify key documents, tailored to directors’ specific concerns,” the authors write.
