Aronson to Speak at LACBA's 42nd Annual Securities Regulation Seminar

O'Melveny partner and Securities Litigation Practice Chair Seth Aronson will be a panelist for the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s 42nd Annual Securities Regulation Seminar, to be held at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles on October 30. 

Top Washington and regional Securities and Exchange Commission officials, together with representatives of other regulatory agencies as well as leading private practitioners, will present a comprehensive review of current events and developments in the securities field. This seminar will include an overview of judicial, regulatory, and enforcement developments, as well as recent trends in the public and private offerings of securities, mergers and acquisitions, and other matters of interest to the securities bar. Featured speakers include Mary Schapiro, Chairman of the SEC; Robert Khuzami, Director of the SEC Division of Enforcement; and David Becker, SEC General Counsel.
Aronson's panel is entitled, "The Changing Face of Securities Litigation." He will be joined by Michael Kelley of Sidley Austin LLP, who will serve as moderator, and John Spiegel of Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP.
