O’Melveny counsel Aleksander Bakic will moderate a panel at the 8th Annual Private Equity in Africa Summit in London on October 26, 2016. Presented by Financial Times and EMPEA, the event will survey Africa’s private markets, identifying opportunities and risks and clarifying uncertainties.
Bakic will moderate the breakout session “For General Partners, Evolving Terms & Conditions, What to Expect on the Continent,” which will answer the following questions:
- What markets or sectors are Limited Partners finding most appealing?
- What are the key terms trends in the region currently?
- Which factors are most important when choosing a fund location, and have any regions emerged as a preferred fund domicile?
- How are terms evolving as new players such as global General Partners and commercial Limited Partners begin to take a keener interest in the region?
