Brett Williamson to Speak at Patent Law Symposium in San Diego

O'Melveny Newport Beach partner Brett Williamson will speak Friday, April 3, 2009, at the annual Thomas Jefferson School of Law Patent Law Symposium.

The Alternative Patent Dispute Resolution Project at Thomas Jefferson School of Law focuses on exploring alternatives to patent dispute resolution in the United States. Such alternatives include making changes to the current Federal patent adjudication process, creating new Federal adjudicative bodies, and improving the accessibility, affordability, and success of mediation and arbitration. Williamson will speak on the topic of international mediation and arbitration of patent cases as part of a panel discussion titled "Improving Patent Adjudication Through ADR and Court Reform."
