Fowler, Chanoine to Speak at GMA Legal Conference 2017February 28, 2017
O’Melveny partner Jeffrey Fowler and counsel Hannah Chanoine will speak at the Grocery Manufacturers Association Legal Conference 2017 in San Diego on February 28, 2017.
Fowler will present “eDiscovery Competence: Are You Putting Yourself at Risk? What Level of Risk Are You Willing to Take?” The breakout session will discuss the intersection of cybersecurity threats and discovery, and will offer practical tips for ensuring counsel are strategically and technically prepared for modern document discovery.
Chanoine will present “Lessons Personal Care and Household Product Companies Can Learn from Food Industry Litigation Battles.” The session will review lessons non-food manufacturers can learn from the battles fought by food manufacturers in the past 10 years.
Based in the firm’s Los Angeles office, Fowler specializes in the high-stakes intersection of ediscovery, information management, cybersecurity, and privacy law. Residing in the firm’s New York office, Chanoine focuses on defending and advising companies in a diverse range of class action matters in the trial and appellate courts.
