Isom, Wifa to Speak on Private Equity Investments in AfricaMarch 26, 2009
O'Melveny partners Phil Isom and Solomon Wifa will be speaking at an upcoming seminar co-presented by the New York City Bar's Committee on African Affairs and the American Bar Association, Section of International Law's Africa Committee, titled, “Private Equity Investments in Africa: Opportunity in the Face of a Global Financial Crisis.”
Isom will moderate the discussion, and Wifa will participate as a featured speaker, along with: Elchi Nowrojee, Director and Counsel, Credit Suisse Legal and Compliance Department of the Asset Management Division; Chinwe Esimai, Vice President of Regulatory Audits and Inquires, Goldman Sachs; and Marc Wagman, Managing Partner, Smyth Trade Credit LLC.
The presentation will take place on Thursday, March 26 from 6-9 p.m. at the House of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
