Kahf to Present on eDiscovery Under Federal Rules of Civil Procedures at LAPA SeminarJuly 24, 2013
O’Melveny associate Usama Kahf (LA) will present at the Los Angeles Paralegal Association’s seminar “eDiscovery under Federal Rules of Civil Procedure,” on July 24, 2013 at the Los Angeles Athletic Club. Kahf, a member of the Firm’s Labor & Employment Practice, will provide an introduction to electronic discovery practice, identifying the scope and sources of discoverable information under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the unique challenges involved with preserving, collecting, reviewing, and producing electronic information. Kahf also will highlight certain trends in the e-discovery world (e.g., predictive coding), as well as diverging court opinions on preservation and spoliation of evidence.
