Kirman to Speak at Life Sciences Compliance Boot CampJanuary 31, 2017
David Kirman will speak at the American Conference Institute’s 3rd Annual Life Sciences Compliance Boot Camp on January 31, 2017, in San Francisco.
Kirman will participate on the panel, “Aggregate Spend Laws and Related Legislation Concerning Interactions with Health Care Professionals and Their Impact on Compliance.” The panel will:
- Offer an overview of existing state aggregate spend laws such as Physician Payment Sunshine laws and the importance of developing compliance protocols to fit their requirements
- Identify required disclosures under these laws
- Review carve outs and exceptions
- Examine and glean insights from previous reporting cycles
Based in Century City, Kirman is a trial lawyer who draws on his experience as a former federal prosecutor to represent clients in government investigations, prosecutions, and business disputes. With extensive experience in healthcare, Kirman represents clients in civil and criminal trials, white collar criminal defense, False Claims Act cases, business litigation, and internal investigations.
