Lazarow to Speak on "High Growth Strategies for Companies"

May 15, 2009
O'Melveny partner Warren Lazarow will be moderating a panel discussion on "High Growth Strategies for Companies" at TiEcon 2009 on May 15.

The IPO market has dried up, corporate M&A has limited cash or stock to use for strategic acquisitions, and venture capital dealflow is at its lowest levels in years. What are the liquidity options for late-stage companies? How can a company grow and fund its ambitions in this climate? How has the calculus for private company fundraising and exit planning changed in the current market?

Panelists Kevin Efrusy of Accel Partners, Sandeep Johri of Hewlett Packard, Packy Kelly of KPMG, Alan Kramer of UPEK, and Scott Munro of Pagemill Partners will join Lazarow for a discussion of these questions.

TiEcon is the world's largest annual convention dedicated to entrepreneurs, regularly drawing upwards of 4,000 attendees. TiEcon 2009 will take place May 15-16 in Santa Clara, California. Other speakers at this year's event include Brad Smith (CEO, Intuit), Hans Morris (President, VISA), Vivek Ranadive (Chairman and CEO, TIBCO).
