Lichtenbaum Discusses Real World Compliance Issues at PLI Anti-Corruption ProgramApril 23, 2018
O’Melveny partner Greta Lichtenbaum will speak on the panel “Real World Compliance Issues and How to Solve Them” at Practising Law Institute’s Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and International Anti-Corruption Developments 2018 on April 23.
The panel will cover such topics as gifts, travel, and entertainment of foreign officials, traps for the unwary, effective but efficient diligence on third parties including audit rights, and training of employees.
Lichtenbaum focuses her practice on compliance with US laws that govern international business transactions and trade. Greta represents and advises clients in matters related to US economic sanctions, export controls, anti-corruption (the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act), money laundering, antiboycott, foreign investment, and customs laws.
