McLean Speaks on Intergenerational Issues in the Legal ProfessionOctober 16, 2009
O’Melveny director of paralegals Stacie McLean was part of a panel assembled to discuss Intergenerational Issues in the Legal Profession as part of Professional Legal Management Week. The event, held October 6, also included representatives from several industry organizations: Association of Legal Administrators; International Legal Technology Association; American Association of Law Libraries; and the ABA Law Practice Management Section.
McLean will also make a presentation on this same topic to the International Paralegal Management Association on October 16. According to McLean, "Intergenerational differences in the workplace are potential sources of conflict, but also present valuable opportunities for knowledge transfer between generations. Awareness of these issues and the strategies for facilitating cooperation among generations is a critical part of managing today's workforce."
