Michael to Discuss Best Practices in International Arbitration

O’Melveny associate Margarita Nikki Michael will speak at the International Centre for Dispute Resolution’s “Best Practices of International Arbitration” in Belgrade on December 21, 2016. The conference will review best practices related to oral hearings and direct/cross examination, final awards, including time and cost issues and enforcement, and other relevant topics.

Michael will look specifically at future best practices in international arbitration, particularly early evaluations and the role of arbitrators in bringing about settlements. She will also debate the issue of “Arbitral Awards – Time and Cost.”

Based in the firm’s London office, Michael focuses on international arbitration and business trial and litigation.
