Mitigating Legal Risk Through Diversity InitiativesFebruary 21, 2018
Presented by: Apalla Chopra, O’Melveny Partner and Labor and Employment Practice Head
Companies must always be prepared to prevent and respond to complaints of sexual harassment—whether reported or not. In today’s political and cultural environments, an organization’s ability to do so capably and with full knowledge of the law is critical.
During this presentation, we will discuss the legal framework applicable to workplace sexual harassment and related forms of discrimination. With this structure in mind, we will discuss how companies can utilize and expand upon existing diversity and inclusion initiatives to mitigate legal risks associated with workplace sexual harassment and other forms of discrimination.
