O’Rourke, Parker, Simmons to Speak at 2014 ABA Antitrust Spring Meeting

O’Melveny & Myers partners Kenneth O’Rourke (LA), Richard Parker (DC), and Ian Simmons (DC), will speak at the American Bar Association’s Section of Antitrust Law Spring Meeting, which will take place from March 26-28, 2014, at the JW Marriot Hotel in Washington, DC. The 62nd Spring Meeting will feature more than 50 substantive sessions across a wide range of topics in antitrust and consumer protection law, both in the US and abroad. CLE credit will be available for all sessions.

On March 26, O’Rourke will participate in the panel, “Civil Litigation in the Aftermath of Criminal Prosecution,” which will discuss how antitrust litigation sparked by a criminal prosecution can create complex issues for trial. On the same day, Simmons will serve as chair and moderator for the panel, “Winning of Losing Class Certification Post-Comcast,” examining the current doctrinal and tactical state of play in antitrust class actions. Additionally, Parker will participate as a panelist in the March 27, “Hot Topics” presentation.
