Rousakis Discusses Best Practices For Greening One's Office

Counsel John Rousakis moderated and spoke at a program held in the Great Hall of the New York City Bar Association entitled "Greening Your Office: Saving Money While Saving the Planet" on April 20, 2009. The program was sponsored by the New York City Bar Association International Environmental Law, Environmental Law, and Energy Committees, and the US Green Building Council of New York.

The discussion centered around efforts by law firms and other businesses to reduce energy consumption and resource use and increase environmental consciousness among employees. In addition to law firm representatives, speakers included representatives from IBM, Pfizer, Deloitte, and the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA), which provides incentives for energy conservation.

Rousakis is a member of O'Melveny's Firmwide Green Office Committee and chairs the New York Green Office Committee.
