Six O’Melveny Antitrust Partners to Speak at ABA Annual Spring MeetingMarch 29, 2017
Six O’Melveny partners will speak at the 65th Annual Spring Meeting of the ABA Section of Antitrust Law from March 29-31 in Washington, DC. The Spring Meeting is the world’s largest meeting of competition and consumer protection law professionals, drawing more than 3,000 people annually.
O’Melveny’s Antitrust Practice Co-Chairs Ian Simmons and Rich Parker will speak on a panel discussing best practices for managing parallel civil and criminal antitrust proceedings, and the Chair’s Showcase panel on synchronizing competition and consumer welfare, respectively. Partner Ken O’Rourke will moderate a panel on ethics issues among joint defense groups and common interest agreements. Partner Ted Hassi will be on a panel discussing how to avoid and address ediscovery crises. Partner Mark Racanelli will be on a panel discussing whether cartel fines approximate anti-competitive harm. And partner Katrina Robson will participate in the Spring Meeting’s signature mock trial session.
