八月 13, 2020

O’Melveny and cybersecurity firm The Crypsis Group will co-host, “Are You Being Reasonable? Implementing and Defending Reasonable Data Security Requirements,” a webinar discussion on how companies can navigate evolving data security requirements and mitigate legal risk.

The panel will address recent enforcement actions by the Federal Trade Commission, legislative proposals on data security, California Consumer Protection Act compliance, and how 5G technology and growth in connected devices may challenge existing consensus on “reasonable” security.

Melody Drummond-Hansen, chair of O’Melveny’s Automated & Connected Vehicles Industry Group, will moderate the discussion, and panelists include O’Melveny data security counsel John Dermody, Crypsis VP of Cyber Risk and Resilience Management Art Ehuan, and Trend Micro Chief Cybersecurity Officer Ed Cabrera.
