Yoder and Quintanilla Participate in Association of Business Trial Lawyer’s Annual SeminarOctober 2, 2009
On October 2, 2009, O’Melveny Newport Beach partner Mike Yoder, with assistance from counsel Marcus Quintanilla, participated on a panel at the Association of Business Trial Lawyer’s (ABTL) 36th Annual Seminar, “Lost in Translation: Cross Border Considerations in California Litigation.” The opening panel of the four-day conference was entitled “Attitudes Across Latitudes: Challenges in Cross-Border Litigation,” and discussed perspectives of American trial lawyers on international arbitration. Yoder shared perspectives of an American business trial lawyer based on his and Quintanilla's recent handling of a series of international arbitrations for our client Palmco Corp.
The ABTL, founded in Los Angeles in 1972, provides a collegial forum for the discussion of business litigation issues and offers an exceptional source of practical training by and for leading trial advocates.
