We have no formula for our volunteer efforts. There’s no ulterior motive or larger agenda. We simply try to help those who need it and support the programs that have touched the hearts of our lawyers and staff. Throughout our offices, the Community Involvement Committees identify and organize events, drives, and fundraisers to hopefully make a small difference in their local neighborhoods or in the world. This can be through a firmwide donation-driven “jeans day” in support of a community hit hard by a natural disaster, a half day spent at a local soup kitchen preparing meals, a weekend cleaning up the beach or planting trees, or a silent auction to support a village in Rwanda.
While the events and causes may change and evolve, they always reflect what matters to the people at O’Melveny. And that matters to O’Melveny.
