O’Melveny partner Shawnna Yashar will be a guest speaker at the 2026 Hansen IP Law and Policy Conference hosted by Fordham Law School. She will join a group of panelists discussing FRAND obligations and whether global SEP litigation is moving toward convergence or deeper fragmentation across major jurisdictions. They will also consider interim licenses, anti-suit injunctions, and UK-German/UPC tensions as well as injunctions and exclusionary remedies in SEP Disputes.

For nearly 20 years, Shawnna has advised innovative technology and software companies on high-stakes IP litigation and complex commercial litigation, successfully handling matters and resolving disputes in various district and federal courts, as well as before the US Patent Trial and Appeal Board and the US International Trade Commission. She has deep experience with Standard Essential Patents, and she also advises on matters involving international trade secrets, IP portfolio management, enterprise IT compliance, and global privacy concerns.
