O’Melveny partner Tancred Schiavoni was a featured panelist for an American Bankruptcy Institute’s webinar in its Strategies and Perspectives series. The series aims to provide insight into the significant approaches taken by industry leaders on extensive and complex bankruptcies.
The panel discussed the Boy Scouts of America chapter 11. “In a case that demonstrates the complexity and confluence of differing stakeholder positions, the panelists discuss its intricacies, including the goals of the debtor, the large group of plaintiffs, and the insurers.”
Tanc Schiavoni is co-chair of O’Melveny’s Insurance Practice and represents insurance and reinsurance companies in a variety of disputes, including bad faith claims and environmental coverage litigation, as well as representing carriers in multiple states. He is a key player in the mediation process and provides coverage advice to clients to support efforts to avoid disputes without the need for litigation.
