O’Melveny Receives The Bond Buyer’s Public-Private Partnership Financing Deal of the Year Award

NEW YORK—November 21, 2023—O’Melveny has been recognized with the Public-Private Partnership Financing Deal of the Year award by The Bond Buyer for O’Melveny’s work representing JFK Millennium Partners, LLC (JMP), which is a consortium formed by Vantage Airport Group, American Triple I Partners, RXR Realty, and JetBlue Airlines, in its development and financing of a new US$4.2 billion passenger terminal at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
The terminal, to be named Terminal 6, will be built as an extension of JetBlue’s existing Terminal 5 at JFK and will eventually span across the entire site now occupied by Terminal 7 at JFK as well. JMP will demolish the existing Terminal 7 to make way for a future expansion of the new Terminal 6.
O’Melveny advised on virtually all aspects of the transaction, including governance arrangements, lease arrangements, design-build and project coordination, financing, and user agreements between JMP and various airlines, retailers, and other private tenants.

The deal was also named a finalist for The Bond Buyer’s Deal of the Year award.
