WASHINGTON, DC—August 26, 2024—O’Melveny partner Ian Simmons has been recognized by the Antitrust Law Section of the American Bar Association with its Outstanding Performance Award for his “outstanding recent contributions to Antitrust Magazine.”
Simmons is a longtime member of the ABA’s Antitrust Law Section Editorial Board. He serves as co-chair of O’Melveny’s Antitrust and Competition Practice, which is perennially ranked among the top global antitrust practices and is highly regarded for providing clients with sophisticated, practical antitrust strategy that combines innovative economic and doctrinal analyses with an adept reading of the regulatory and political environment. Simmons is an alumnus of the US Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division and he has served as lead counsel in more than 35 multi-district litigation (MDL) antitrust proceedings, often achieving precedent-setting results.
