Johnson & Johnson has reached a US$700 million nationwide settlement with attorneys general from 43 states over allegations that the company misled consumers about the safety of its talc-infused products. The proposed agreement is still subject to court approval in the 455th Judicial District Court in Travis County, Texas. Johnson & Johnson is represented by O’Melveny partner Daniel R. Suvor, co-chair of the firm’s State Attorneys General Investigations and Litigation Group.
