O’Melveny Expands Its Global Antitrust Team with Leading Trial Lawyers Diana Aguilar & Lauren Weinstein

March 2, 2026

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEW YORK—March 2, 2026—O’Melveny announced today that leading antitrust trial lawyers Diana Aguilar and Lauren Weinstein have joined the firm’s San Francisco and Washington, DC offices as partners in the Antitrust & Competition Practice Group, bolstering the firm’s antitrust capabilities and expanding its worldwide roster of top-tier practitioners.

Aguilar, who joins O’Melveny from the US Department of Justice, and Weinstein, who arrives from boutique litigation firm MoloLamken, are recognized as emerging leaders in the antitrust and competition arena. Together, they bring more than 25 years of experience to O’Melveny handling high-stakes litigation, investigations, and enforcement matters. They will represent clients across a broad spectrum of industries, such as technology, financial services, transportation, media and entertainment, and energy.

The addition of Aguilar and Weinstein accelerates O’Melveny’s continued strategic growth. With their arrival, 46 lateral partners have joined the firm since 2023, including 19 litigation partners. And Aguilar and Weinstein are two of five partners to join O’Melveny’s Antitrust & Competition Practice Group in just the past year—following the 2025 arrivals of Brussels partners Stéphane Frank and Vanessa Turner and the promotion earlier this year of Washington, DC partner Brian Quinn.

“It is a pleasure to welcome Diana and Lauren to our firm as we continue to expand our talented and award-winning Antitrust team,” said O’Melveny chair Bradley J. Butwin. “Both Diana and Lauren are impressive trial lawyers, with sharp technical abilities and extensive experience at the highest levels that will immediately benefit our clients. We are delighted to welcome them aboard.”

“I’m excited to join O’Melveny’s San Francisco office and to work alongside such a remarkable team of lawyers,” said Aguilar. “O’Melveny is renowned for excellence and for a deep commitment to client service. I’m thrilled to call the firm ‘home’ as I reenter private practice.”

“Joining O’Melveny’s Washington, DC office was an easy decision for me,” added Weinstein. “Not only is the firm an antitrust powerhouse, but its culture of collegiality and collaboration is truly special. I’m confident that O’Melveny will be the perfect fit for me and my clients.”
