O’Melveny Represents BofA Securities as Lead Underwriter in American Airlines Maintenance Facility Refinancing

LOS ANGELES—May 16, 2025—O’Melveny represented BofA Securities, Inc. as lead underwriter in the issuance of US$400 million of revenue bonds issued by the Trustees of the Tulsa Municipal Airport Trust for the benefit of American Airlines, Inc.
The revenue bond proceeds are being used to finance improvements to American’s overhaul and maintenance base at Tulsa International Airport used by American as its principal aircraft and engine maintenance facility, and to refund approximately US$104 million of revenue bonds previously issued to finance earlier work at the maintenance facility.
The O’Melveny team advising BofA Securities was led by partners Liz Dubeck and Eric Richards, co-chair of the firm’s Corporate Department. The team also included counsel Scott Snyder and associate Emma Byrd. Partner James Harrigan assisted with state and local securities matters, and of counsel Evan Jones advised on bankruptcy-related matters.
