Transaction Represents the First Hong Kong IPO of an Antiserum Company

HONG KONG—June 30, 2026—O’Melveny represented Jiangxi Institute of Biological Products Inc. (“Jiangxi Biological”, 6915.HK) in its listing on the Main Board of The Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with an offering size of approximately HK$406 million (approximately US$52 million). The offering size could reach approximately US$60 million (HK$467 million) if the over-allotment option is exercised in full. O’Melveny served as both Hong Kong and U.S. counsel to Jiangxi Biological. China International Capital Corporation Hong Kong Securities Limited and China Merchants Securities (HK) Co., Limited acted as joint sponsors and sponsor-overall coordinators.
This is the first IPO of an antiserum company in Hong Kong. According to Frost & Sullivan, Jiangxi Biological is the largest human tetanus antitoxins provider in China and globally (in terms of sales volume in 2025), and has consistently dominated the human tetanus antitoxins market in China, maintaining a market share of above 50% for 19 consecutive years. From 2023 through 2025, Jiangxi Biological’s human tetanus antitoxins have been exported to more than 30 countries and regions in Asia and Africa, accounting for nearly 100% of China’s export volume.
