O’Melveny Represents Shanghai REFIRE Group in New H-Share Placement

SHANGHAI—January 27, 2026—O’Melveny represented Shanghai REFIRE Group Limited (“REFIRE”, 2570.HK) in its placing of 4,536,000 new H shares under general mandate, at HK$58.38 per placing share. The gross proceeds from the placing is approximately HK$264.81 million (approximately US$34 million). Macquarie Capital Limited acted as sole overall coordinator and sole placing agent.
The placement was announced on January 17, 2026 and completed on January 26, 2026. The company disclosed that it will use the proceeds for enhancement of its financial structure, and general corporate purposes. The transaction marks O’Melveny’s fourth H-share placement for Hong-Kong listed companies this month.
O’Melveny represented REFIRE in its Hong Kong IPO in 2024. REFIRE is a leading hydrogen technology company in China, specializing in the design, development, manufacture, and sales of hydrogen fuel cells.
The O’Melveny team was led by partners Ke Zhu and Ke Geng. The core team members included senior legal manager Alfred Li and legal manager Cherika Chen.
