O’Melveny partner Michael Dreeben, a former Deputy US Solicitor General, was mentioned in this ABA Journal article highlighting recent coverage of high-profile Department of Justice Supreme Court position reversals under the Biden Administration.
Dreeben shared his thoughts with Bloomberg Law, among other publications, about how the DOJ can defend its credibility amid such change, saying it must utilize “sound judgment in deciding which policies to change, be frank when acknowledging the switch, and give a reasoned explanation for the decision.”
