Axios: Scoop: Ron Klain Rejoins Law Firm O’Melveny as Partner

Former White House chief of staff Ron Klain has joined O’Melveny & Myers LLP as a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department. Klain, previously an O’Melveny partner from 1999 to 2004, will be based in Washington, DC and New York. “Throughout my years in public service,” Klain said, “I have felt the support of the O’Melveny community, including mentors Warren Christopher, Bill Coleman, Walter Dellinger, and A.B. Culvahouse. I am delighted to rejoin many friends and former colleagues at the firm.” A Harvard Law graduate who has served under three presidents, Klain will head O’Melveny’s Strategic Counseling and Crisis Management Practice and advise C-suite executives and boards of directors across a variety of industries. He will also handle important pro bono matters and help recruit lawyers to the firm.
