Bloomberg Law: O’Melveny Adds Former SEC Regional Director Layne as LA Of Counsel

Michele Wein Layne has joined O’Melveny & Myers LLP as of counsel in Los Angeles in the firm’s White Collar Defense and Corporate Investigations Practice Group. Layne, who served as the director of the Los Angeles regional office of the Securities and Exchange Commission, will focus on securities-related enforcement matters, internal and regulatory investigations, and governance and compliance issues.
