Crain’s New York Business: 2022 Notable Women in Law

O’Melveny partner Hannah Chanoine has been recognized in Crain’s New York Business’ list of 2022 “Notable Women in Law,” which celebrates women lawyers who “were chosen not only for their skills and accomplishments in the courtroom, but for their leadership outside of it.” Crain’s identified Chanoine as “the go-to consumer class-action defense lawyer for companies facing nationwide false advertising cases relating to everyday goods and services.” The publication also highlighted Chanoine’s leadership of the O’Melveny team that won complete dismissal of a class-action case against Skechers over its light-up shoes, as well as the pro bono team that “worked with the Lambda Legal Defense Fund to achieve a victory for nonbinary New Yorkers seeking an ‘X’ gender marker on their driver’s license.”
