Global Competition Review: FTC Settles Tractor Supply Merger Following Lengthy Review

The Federal Trade Commission has approved Tractor Supply’s US$360 million acquisition of Orscheln Farm and Home on the condition that it sells 84 of Orscheln’s stores to Buchheit and Bomgaars. The net purchase price of the 81 stores that Tractor Supply will retain is US$238 million. All divestitures must be finalized by the end of 2023.
