Law36: 11th Circ. Upholds Florida Restaurant’s Virus Coverage Loss
May 13, 2022US Circuit Judges Robin S. Rosenbaum, Britt C. Grant, and R. Lanier Anderson III upheld a Florida federal court’s ruling that denied Cafe International Holding Co. from pursuing pandemic-related coverage from Westchester Surplus Lines Insurance Co. The court determined that no “tangible alteration” to Cafe International’s property occurred as a result of COVID-19 and, therefore, does not constitute coverage.
