O’Melveny partner Danny Ashby and counsel Amanda Santella and John Dermody co-authored this article focusing on the threats that cyber attacks pose to critical infrastructure and two recent False Claims Act settlements signaling a wave of potential cyber liability for companies doing business with the government. “The cybersecurity environment is changing,” the authors wrote. “In addition to having to comply with new incident reporting regulations, companies need to invest sufficient time and resources to ensure they are living up to their contractual cybersecurity obligations.
