Law360: 5 Firms Build Broadcom’s US$61B Deal For VMware

Broadcom Inc. announced its plan to purchase cloud services provider VMware Inc. for US$61 billion. The transaction will be a mix of cash and stock and follows a number of deals Broadcom has executed in recent years, including its acquisitions of Symantec in 2019 and CA Technologies in 2018. O’Melveny & Myers LLP serves as legal counsel to Broadcom.
