Law360: 7 BigLaw Firms Sign On To New Abortion Defense Initiative

Seven law firms are teaming up with a group of reproductive rights organizations to provide legal services to abortion providers, activists, abortion funds, and others who are facing the threat of legal action. Named the Abortion Defense Network, the team of law firms and reproductive rights organizations will support clinics, staff members, health care clinicians, and supporters such as grassroots activists, abortion fund organizations, and researchers. O’Melveny & Myers LLP is among the law firms participating.
