Law360: Ex-Twitter Deputy General Counsel Joins O’Melveny

Former Deputy General Counsel and Vice President of Twitter Tod Cohen has joined O’Melveny as a partner, this article reported. Cohen, who previously served in senior in-house legal positions at eBay Inc. and StubHub Inc., will advise the firm’s clients in data privacy, payments, and antitrust and competition law, among other areas.
O’Melveny chair Bradley Butwin said in a statement that Cohen brings significant experience guiding large technology companies on some of the most pressing issues facing the industry. “He will give our clients a powerful advantage in building and defending innovative internet businesses during an era of unprecedented regulatory scrutiny,” Butwin said.
