Law360: Ex-Biden Chief Of Staff Ron Klain Returns To O’Melveny

Former White House chief of staff Ron Klain is rejoining O’Melveny & Myers LLP as a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department and member of its Executive Committee. Klain, who will also head O’Melveny’s new Strategic Counseling and Crisis Management Practice, was a partner at the firm from 1999 to 2004. “I am proud of all that we accomplished and grateful to the tremendously talented people I worked with each day at the White House,” Klain said. “And now I am excited to start this next chapter and return ‘home’ to O’Melveny.” Bradley J. Butwin, O’Melveny’s chair, said that “Ron has furthered the proud O’Melveny tradition of answering the call of public service many times over ... Now, after the latest phase of his very impressive government career, we are thrilled to welcome him home.”
